We were able to photograph a few of the murals in downtown Tucson while we traveled between the various Gem Shows in Feb 2009. Photographs include; the mural on the community access cable building, a wall mural, a mural painted on the ceramic tiles at the corner of a building and the Basket Bridge just east of downtown Tucson, Arizona http://www.tucsonpictures.com/Articles.php?action=detail&g=content1234909568&pid=1397

We climbed A mountain overlooking Tucson, Arizona and took a few photos looking east over downtown Tucson, AZ. Sentinel Peak is 2,897 feet in altitude. The large letter A was built by the UofA in 1916 and is 160 feet tall and 70 feet wide. The Plaza Colonial in north Tucson, Arizona is an example of interesting soutwest architecture. There is a prominent copper dome on the north east corner of the plaza, a fountain and a courtyard.
